Welcome to the World, Little Black Jack!

We’re overjoyed to share some exciting news from Lemler Long Ears — another beautiful baby donkey has joined our herd! On the warm afternoon of September 23, 2024, our sweet mama donkey Rhonda gave birth to her second baby here on the farm: a handsome little jack we’ve lovingly named Black Jack.

Just like his big sister Betty Lou, he was up and standing in no time, already showing off his adventurous spirit and sticking close to mom as he explored his new world. Watching Rhonda become a mother for the second time has been such a joy.

Black Jack’s arrival marks another special milestone for our farm. Every birth brings new energy and love to Lemler Long Ears, and this little guy is no exception. We can’t wait to watch him grow, play with the other young donkeys, and develop his own personality — we already have a feeling he’s going to be a spunky, playful addition to the family!
