Lemler Long Ears Joins Southern Wells Community Church for a Special Live Nativity

This Christmas season, Lemler Long Ears had the honor of bringing the spirit of the nativity to life by participating in Southern Wells Community Church’s Live Nativity. It was a beautiful evening filled with candlelight, carols, and community — and our donkeys were thrilled to play a part in such a meaningful event.

A few of our gentle, well-loved donkeys made the trip to the church to help recreate the stable scene from that first Christmas night. With their calm presence and sweet nature, they added a truly authentic and heartwarming touch to the nativity. As families walked through and children pointed with wide-eyed wonder, it reminded us all of the power of simple, living moments to bring the story to life.

In the true spirit of giving, canned goods were collected during the event and donated to the Wells County Backpack Program, helping ensure that local children in need have food to take home over the weekends. We were proud to be part of an event that not only celebrated the birth of Christ but also gave back to our community in a tangible, impactful way.
