The Lemler Long Ear Story
Our miniature donkey farm is a true family venture, rooted in a shared love for animals and the simple joys of farm life. What began as a small dream quickly turned into a way of life, where every family member plays a hands-on role in caring for our donkeys. We believe in creating a space where animals are loved like family, and visitors feel right at home. We're proud to share our farm, our story, and our beloved donkeys with you.
Our Story
Jeff and Jamie, along with their children Braden and Macy, have spent the past few years bringing Lemler Long Ears to life. What began as a simple hobby outside of running their family business, Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, quickly grew into a heartfelt passion. It all started with one special donkey that captured their hearts, sparking a journey that would lead to the creation of a growing and beloved herd. Today, Lemler Long Ears is home to 16 donkeys, each with its own personality and charm, reflecting the family's dedication and love for these unique animals.

What started out as a single donkey, has quickly grown by leaps and bounds. There are no way we could provide the high level of care to the stables, pastures and to our loving herd with out the help of the entire Lemler Long Ears Crew!
