Animal Exploration with Bluffton Parks

Lemler Long Ears was thrilled to be part of Bluffton Parks’ Animal Exploration Day, where we brought along two of our beloved miniature donkeys, Sonney and Miss Ellie, for a fun and educational afternoon with local families.

Set at the Wells County 4H Park, the event welcomed kids of all ages to meet and learn about a variety of animals. Sonney and Miss Ellie quickly became crowd favorites with their soft brays, gentle personalities, and irresistible charm. Children had the chance to interact with our beloved donkeys! Throughout the day, we shared facts about donkey behavior, care, and their unique history.

Events like Animal Exploration are a perfect opportunity for us to connect with the community and teach children the value of understanding and respecting animals. Watching the smiles, hearing the laughter, and seeing kids bond with Sonney and Miss Ellie reminded us why we do what we do.

Thank you to Bluffton Parks for inviting Lemler Long Ears to be part of such a special day! We’re always happy to bring our donkeys on the road to share their charm and teach a little along the way. If you'd like to schedule a visit or event with our miniature donkeys, we’d love to hear from you!
